Description
Human IL33 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human IL33 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser112-Thr270, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 20.29 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Interleukin-33 (IL33) is a ~30 kDa protein. Cytokine that binds to and signals through the IL1RL1/ST2 receptor which in turn activates NF-kappa-B and MAPK signaling pathways in target cells. For research use only.
Involved in the maturation of Th2 cells inducing the secretion of T-helper type 2-associated cytokines. Also involved in activation of mast cells, basophils, eosinophils and natural killer cells. Acts as an enhancer of polarization of alternatively activated macrophages. Acts as a chemoattractant for Th2 cells, and may function as an 'alarmin', that amplifies immune responses during tissue injury.
