Description
Human ILF3 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human ILF3 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Tyr672-Tyr891, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 24.47 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in TBS pH 8.0, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Interleukin enhancer-binding factor 3 (ILF3) is a ~95 kDa protein. RNA-binding protein that plays an essential role in the biogenesis of circular RNAs (circRNAs) which are produced by back-splicing circularization of pre-mRNAs. For research use only.
Within the nucleus, promotes circRNAs processing by stabilizing the regulatory elements residing in the flanking introns of the circularized exons. Plays thereby a role in the back-splicing of a subset of circRNAs. As a consequence, participates in a wide range of transcriptional and post-transcriptional processes. Binds to poly-U elements and AU-rich elements (AREs) in the 3'-UTR of target mRNAs.
