Description
Human IMPA2 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human IMPA2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Lys288, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 33.48 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Inositol monophosphatase 2 (IMPA2) is a ~31 kDa protein. Phosphatase that can use myo-inositol monophosphates, myo-inositol 1,4-diphosphate, scyllo-inositol-1,4-diphosphate, glucose-1-phosphate, beta-glycerophosphate and 2'-AMP as substrates in vitro. For research use only.
It is likely that IMPA2 has an as yet unidentified in vivo substrate(s). Has been implicated as the pharmacological target for lithium (Li(+)) action in brain.
