Human ITSN1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human ITSN1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Asp1216-Leu1445, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Intersectin-1 is a ~195 kDa protein. Adapter protein that provides a link between the endocytic membrane traffic and the actin assembly machinery. For research use only.
Acts as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) for CDC42, and thereby stimulates actin nucleation mediated by WASL and the ARP2/3 complex. Plays a role in the assembly and maturation of clathrin-coated vesicles. Recruits FCHSD2 to clathrin-coated pits. Involved in endocytosis of activated EGFR, and probably also other growth factor receptors.
