Description
Human JADE1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human JADE1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gly217-Ser363, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 18.48 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Protein Jade-1 (JADE1) is a ~95 kDa protein. Scaffold subunit of some HBO1 complexes, which have a histone H4 acetyltransferase activity. For research use only.
Plays a key role in HBO1 complex by directing KAT7/HBO1 specificity towards histone H4 acetylation (H4K5ac, H4K8ac and H4K12ac), regulating DNA replication initiation, regulating DNA replication initiation. May also promote acetylation of nucleosomal histone H4 by KAT5. Promotes apoptosis. May act as a renal tumor suppressor.
