Human KLC3 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gly187-Ala458, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Kinesin light chain 3 is a ~55 kDa protein. Plays a role during spermiogenesis in the development of the sperm tail midpiece and in the normal function of spermatozoa. May play a role in the formation of the mitochondrial sheath formation in the developing spermatid midpiece.
