Description
Human LRRFIP1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human LRRFIP1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Thr123-Asn256, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 18.19 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Leucine-rich repeat flightless-interacting protein 1 is a ~89 kDa protein. Transcriptional repressor which preferentially binds to the GC-rich consensus sequence (5'-AGCCCCCGGCG-3') and may regulate expression of TNF, EGFR and PDGFA. For research use only.
May control smooth muscle cells proliferation following artery injury through PDGFA repression. May also bind double-stranded RNA. Positively regulates Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling in response to agonist probably by competing with the negative FLII regulator for MYD88-binding.
