Description
Human MYC Recombinant Protein (N-GST)
Human MYC Recombinant Protein (N-GST) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Ala453, with an N-terminal GST tag. Predicted molecular weight: 77.26 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Myc proto-oncogene protein is a ~50 kDa protein. Transcription factor that binds DNA in a non-specific manner, yet also specifically recognizes the core sequence 5'-CAC[GA]TG-3'. For research use only.
Activates the transcription of growth-related genes. Binds to the VEGFA promoter, promoting VEGFA production and subsequent sprouting angiogenesis. Regulator of somatic reprogramming, controls self-renewal of embryonic stem cells. Functions with TAF6L to activate target gene expression through RNA polymerase II pause release.
