Description
Human NCOR1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human NCOR1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met424-Gly500&Trp628-Pro690, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Nuclear receptor corepressor 1 is a ~270 kDa protein. Mediates transcriptional repression by certain nuclear receptors. For research use only.
Part of a complex which promotes histone deacetylation and the formation of repressive chromatin structures which may impede the access of basal transcription factors. Participates in the transcriptional repressor activity produced by BCL6. Recruited by ZBTB7A to the androgen response elements/ARE on target genes, negatively regulates androgen receptor signaling and androgen-induced cell proliferation. Mediates the NR1D1-dependent repression and circadian regulation of TSHB expression.
