Human NDUFC2 Recombinant Protein (N-GST & C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ile2-Ala55&Lys76-Arg119, with an N-terminal GST tag and a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 40.01 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] 1 subunit C2 is a ~14 kDa protein. Accessory subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I), that is believed not to be involved in catalysis but required for the complex assembly. Complex I functions in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. The immediate electron acceptor for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone.
