Human NELFCD Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human NELFCD Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gln196-Asn590, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Negative elongation factor C/D is a ~66 kDa protein. Essential component of the NELF complex, a complex that negatively regulates the elongation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. The NELF complex, which acts via an association with the DSIF complex and causes transcriptional pausing, is counteracted by the P-TEFb kinase complex.
