Human NPNT Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gly416-Arg565, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 18.65 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Regulates the expression of GDNF with integrin alpha-8/beta-1 which is essential for kidney development. May also play a role in the development and function of various tissues, regulating cell adhesion, spreading and survival through the binding of several integrins.
