Description
Human NR2E3 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human NR2E3 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gly216-Asn410, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 24.16 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Photoreceptor-specific nuclear receptor is a ~44 kDa protein. Orphan nuclear receptor of retinal photoreceptor cells. For research use only.
Transcriptional factor that is an activator of rod development and repressor of cone development. Binds the promoter region of a number of rod- and cone-specific genes, including rhodopsin, M- and S-opsin and rod-specific phosphodiesterase beta subunit. Enhances rhodopsin expression. Represses M- and S-cone opsin expression.
