Human NRDC Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Glu208-Asn647, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 53.32 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Nardilysin is a ~131 kDa protein. Cleaves peptide substrates on the N-terminus of arginine residues in dibasic pairs. For research use only.
Is a critical activator of BACE1- and ADAM17-mediated pro-neuregulin ectodomain shedding, involved in the positive regulation of axonal maturation and myelination. Required for proper functioning of 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase (OGDH).
