Description
Human PDGFA Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human PDGFA Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser87-Thr211, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 16.6 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Platelet-derived growth factor subunit A (PDGFA) is a ~24 kDa protein. Growth factor that plays an essential role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation, cell migration, survival and chemotaxis. For research use only.
Potent mitogen for cells of mesenchymal origin. Required for normal lung alveolar septum formation during embryogenesis, normal development of the gastrointestinal tract, normal development of Leydig cells and spermatogenesis. Required for normal oligodendrocyte development and normal myelination in the spinal cord and cerebellum. Plays an important role in wound healing.
