Description
Human PHKG1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human PHKG1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Gln289, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 35.54 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Phosphorylase b kinase gamma catalytic chain, skeletal muscle/heart isoform is a ~45 kDa protein. Catalytic subunit of the phosphorylase b kinase (PHK), which mediates the neural and hormonal regulation of glycogen breakdown (glycogenolysis) by phosphorylating and thereby activating glycogen phosphorylase. For research use only.
In vitro, phosphorylates PYGM, TNNI3, MAPT/TAU, GAP43 and NRGN/RC3.
