Human PLCXD2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Ser305, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 36.94 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. PI-PLC X domain-containing protein 2 (PLCXD2) is a ~34 kDa protein. Catalyzes the hydrolysis of inositol from phosphatidylinositol (1,2-diacyl-sn-glycero-3-phospho-(1D-myo-inositol), PI). Could also hydrolyze various multi-phosphorylated derivatives of PI, such as phosphatidylinositol-4,5 bisphosphate (PIP2), releasing inositol-1,4,5-trisphosphate (IP3) and the protein kinase C activator diacylglycerol (DAG), therefore mediating cell signaling (Probable).
