Human PMPCB Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Arg59-Asp489, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 50.43 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Mitochondrial-processing peptidase subunit beta is a ~54 kDa protein. Preferentially, cleaves after an arginine at position P2. Required for PINK1 turnover by coupling PINK1 mitochondrial import and cleavage, which results in subsequent PINK1 proteolysis.
