Human PPIH Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human PPIH Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Met177, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 21.24 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase H (PPIH) is a ~19 kDa protein. PPIase that catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides and may therefore assist protein folding. For research use only.
Participates in pre-mRNA splicing. May play a role in the assembly of the U4/U5/U6 tri-snRNP complex, one of the building blocks of the spliceosome. May act as a chaperone.
