Human PSMG1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human PSMG1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Glu46-Thr288, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 29.94 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Proteasome assembly chaperone 1 is a ~32 kDa protein. Chaperone protein which promotes assembly of the 20S proteasome as part of a heterodimer with PSMG2. For research use only.
The PSMG1-PSMG2 heterodimer binds to the PSMA5 and PSMA7 proteasome subunits, promotes assembly of the proteasome alpha subunits into the heteroheptameric alpha ring and prevents alpha ring dimerization.
