Human PTPRR Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human PTPRR Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Ser171, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 20.98 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase R (PTPRR) is a ~73 kDa protein. Sequesters mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) such as MAPK1, MAPK3 and MAPK14 in the cytoplasm in an inactive form. The MAPKs bind to a dephosphorylated kinase interacting motif, phosphorylation of which by the protein kinase A complex releases the MAPKs for activation and translocation into the nucleus.
