Human RET / Proto-oncogene tyrosine-protein kinase receptor Ret ELISA

RET (Ret Proto-Oncogene) Protein encodes a transmembrane receptor and member of the tyrosine protein kinase family of proteins. RET is a proto-oncogene that, when mutated, can cause thyroid cancer. The RET protein is also involved in the development of other cancers, including lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, and melanoma. Diseases associated with RET include Hirschsprung Disease 1 and Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia, Type Iia. An important paralog of tRET is FLT1.
