Description
Human RHOB Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human RHOB Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Val48-Leu196, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 19.26 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Rho-related GTP-binding protein RhoB is a ~22 kDa protein. Mediates apoptosis in neoplastically transformed cells after DNA damage. For research use only.
Not essential for development but affects cell adhesion and growth factor signaling in transformed cells. Plays a negative role in tumorigenesis as deletion causes tumor formation. Involved in intracellular protein trafficking of a number of proteins. Targets PKN1 to endosomes and is involved in trafficking of the EGF receptor from late endosomes to lysosomes.
