Human RNF6 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Thr580-Gly685, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 14.38 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase RNF6 is a ~78 kDa protein. Negatively regulates axonal outgrowth through regulation of the LIMK1 turnover. Mediates 'Lys-6' and 'Lys-27'-linked polyubiquitination of AR/androgen receptor thereby modulating its transcriptional activity. May also bind DNA and function as a transcriptional regulator. Mediates polyubiquitination of QKI in macrophages, leading to its degradation.
