Human SEC23B Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Leu129-Phe400, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 32.50 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Protein transport protein Sec23B is a ~86 kDa protein. Component of the coat protein complex II (COPII) which promotes the formation of transport vesicles from the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). The coat has two main functions, the physical deformation of the endoplasmic reticulum membrane into vesicles and the selection of cargo molecules for their transport to the Golgi complex.
