Human SERPINA4 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human SERPINA4 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gln21-Pro427, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 48.80 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Kallistatin is a ~48 kDa protein. Inhibits human amidolytic and kininogenase activities of tissue kallikrein. For research use only.
Inhibition is achieved by formation of an equimolar, heat- and SDS-stable complex between the inhibitor and the enzyme, and generation of a small C-terminal fragment of the inhibitor due to cleavage at the reactive site by tissue kallikrein.
