Description
Human SHB Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human SHB Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ala252-Arg507, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 31.4 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. SH2 domain-containing adapter protein B (SHB) is a ~55 kDa protein. Adapter protein which regulates several signal transduction cascades by linking activated receptors to downstream signaling components. For research use only.
May play a role in angiogenesis by regulating FGFR1, VEGFR2 and PDGFR signaling. May also play a role in T-cell antigen receptor/TCR signaling, interleukin-2 signaling, apoptosis and neuronal cells differentiation by mediating basic-FGF and NGF-induced signaling cascades. May also regulate IRS1 and IRS2 signaling in insulin-producing cells.
