Description
Human STEAP2 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human STEAP2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ala28-Arg207, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 22.54 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Metalloreductase STEAP2 is a ~56 kDa protein. Integral membrane protein that functions as a NADPH-dependent ferric-chelate reductase, using NADPH from one side of the membrane to reduce a Fe(3+) chelate that is bound on the other side of the membrane. For research use only.
Mediates sequential transmembrane electron transfer from NADPH to FAD and onto heme, and finally to the Fe(3+) chelate. Can also reduce Cu(2+) to Cu(1+).
