Human TEC Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Glu182-Arg631, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 54.62 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Tyrosine-protein kinase Tec is a ~73 kDa protein. Plays a redundant role to ITK in regulation of the adaptive immune response. Regulates the development, function and differentiation of conventional T-cells and nonconventional NKT-cells. Required for TCR-dependent IL2 gene induction. Phosphorylates DOK1, one CD28-specific substrate, and contributes to CD28-signaling.
