Description
Human TNIK Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human TNIK Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Glu1038-Trp1360, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 39.68 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. TRAF2 and NCK-interacting protein kinase (TNIK) is a ~154 kDa protein. Serine/threonine kinase that acts as an essential activator of the Wnt signaling pathway. For research use only.
Recruited to promoters of Wnt target genes and required to activate their expression. May act by phosphorylating TCF4/TCF7L2. Appears to act upstream of the JUN N-terminal pathway. May play a role in the response to environmental stress.
