Human TPP1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Val320, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Tripeptidyl-peptidase 1 (TPP1) is a ~61 kDa protein. Lysosomal serine protease with tripeptidyl-peptidase I activity. For research use only.
May act as a non-specific lysosomal peptidase which generates tripeptides from the breakdown products produced by lysosomal proteinases. Requires substrates with an unsubstituted N-terminus.
