Description
Human TPX2 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human TPX2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning His261-Phe402, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 19.07 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Targeting protein for Xklp2 (TPX2) is a ~85 kDa protein. Spindle assembly factor required for normal assembly of mitotic spindles. For research use only.
Required for normal assembly of microtubules during apoptosis. Required for chromatin and/or kinetochore dependent microtubule nucleation. Mediates AURKA localization to spindle microtubules. Activates AURKA by promoting its autophosphorylation at 'Thr-288' and protects this residue against dephosphorylation.
