Description
Human TRIM40 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human TRIM40 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Leu258, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 31.50 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. E3 ubiquitin ligase TRIM40 is a ~29 kDa protein. E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that plays a role in the limitation of the innate immune response. For research use only.
Mediates inhibition of the RLR signaling pathway by ubiquitinating RIGI and IFIH1 receptors, leading to their proteasomal degradation. Also promotes the neddylation of IKBKG/NEMO, stabilizing NFKBIA, and thereby inhibiting of NF-kappa-B nuclear translocation and activation.
