Description
Human TULP3 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human TULP3 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gln176-Glu442, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 32.69 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Tubby-related protein 3 (TULP3) is a ~49 kDa protein. Negative regulator of the Shh signaling transduction pathway: recruited to primary cilia via association with the IFT complex A (IFT-A) and is required for recruitment of G protein-coupled receptor GPR161 to cilia, a promoter of PKA-dependent basal repression machinery in Shh signaling. For research use only.
Binds to phosphorylated inositide (phosphoinositide) lipids. Both IFT-A- and phosphoinositide-binding properties are required to regulate ciliary G protein-coupled receptor trafficking. During adipogenesis, regulates ciliary trafficking of FFAR4 in preadipocytes.
