Human Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 A / UBE2A ELISA Kit

Protein ubiquitination is a key cellular process for targeting abnormal or short-lived proteins for degradation. The three classes of enzymes that participate in ubiquitination are ubiquitin-activating enzymes, ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes, and ubiquitin-protein ligases. This gene encodes an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme. This enzyme is needed for post-replicative DNA damage repair and may be involved in transcriptional regulation. This gene is associated with cognitive disability by way of alternative splicing. There are many transcript variants as a result of alternative splicing. Intellectual Developmental Disorder, X-Linked, Syndromic, Nascimento Type, and Kaufman Oculocerebrofacial Syndrome are just a few examples of diseases linked with UBE2A. Protein metabolism and Class I MHC-mediated antigen processing and presentation are two of their connected pathways.
