Human VARS2 Recombinant Protein (N-His)

Human VARS2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gly268-Arg483, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 25.99 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Valine--tRNA ligase, mitochondrial is a ~118 kDa protein. Catalyzes the attachment of valine to tRNA(Val) in a two-step reaction: valine is first activated by ATP to form Val-AMP and then transferred to the acceptor end of tRNA(Val). For research use only.
