Description
Mouse CCL11/Eotaxin Recombinant Protein (N-His-SUMO)
Mouse CCL11/Eotaxin Recombinant Protein (N-His-SUMO) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning His24-Pro97, with an N-terminal His-SUMO tag. Predicted molecular weight: 20.78 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Eotaxin (CCL11) is a ~10 kDa protein. Chemokine that plays a central role in both allergic and non-allergic inflammatory reactions by inducing the migration of different leukocyte types including eosinophils, basophils, macrophages and dendritic cells. For research use only.
Exerts its effects primarily by binding to the CCR3 receptor. Induces also chemotaxis of endothelial cells and promotes angiogenesis by activating the PI3K/Akt pathway.
