Mouse CTSS Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Glu24-Ile340, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 38.75 kDa. Key protease responsible for the removal of the invariant chain from MHC class II molecules and MHC class II antigen presentation. The bond-specificity of this proteinase is in part similar to the specificities of cathepsin L. Elicits itch by mediating cleavage and activation of MRGPRX1.
