Description
Mouse NECTIN4 Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Mouse NECTIN4 Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Met1-Ser347, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 37.21 kDa. Purity: >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Nectin-4 is a ~55 kDa protein. Seems to be involved in cell adhesion through trans-homophilic and -heterophilic interactions, the latter including specifically interactions with NECTIN1. For research use only.
Plays a role in the senescence-associated cell size enlargement via SFK/PI3K/Rac1 and thus promotes senescent cell survival. Also participates in the innate immune response by acting as a ligand for the receptor TIGIT to inhibit NK-cell activity.
