The PIGO Antibody (CAB18670) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. These anchors are essential for attaching proteins to the cell membrane and are involved in various cellular processes, including signal transduction and immune response.Raised in rabbits, this antibody is highly specific and reactive with human samples, making it ideal for studies in cell biology, molecular biology, and immunology. It has been validated for use in Western blot applications, enabling detection and analysis of the PIGO protein in various cell types. The PIGO protein plays a crucial role in maintaining cell membrane integrity and function.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

This gene encodes a protein that is involved in glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchor biosynthesis. The GPI-anchor is a glycolipid which contains three mannose molecules in its core backbone. The GPI-anchor is found on many blood cells and serves to anchor proteins to the cell surface. This protein is involved in the transfer of ethanolaminephosphate (EtNP) to the third mannose in GPI. At least three alternatively spliced transcripts encoding two distinct isoforms have been found for this gene.
