The PIVKA-II ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the precise and reliable detection of PIVKA-II levels in human serum samples. This kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and reproducible results for researchers studying conditions such as liver disease, vitamin K deficiency, and hepatocellular carcinoma.PIVKA-II, also known as protein induced by vitamin K absence or antagonist-II, is a protein produced in the liver that is elevated in individuals with impaired vitamin K metabolism. Monitoring PIVKA-II levels can provide valuable insights into liver function and vitamin K status, making it a valuable biomarker for diagnostic and research purposes. With easy-to-follow instructions and all necessary components included, the PIVKA-II ELISA Kit is a convenient and efficient tool for detecting and quantifying PIVKA-II levels in human samples. Researchers can confidently rely on this kit for accurate and consistent results in their studies.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to the target protein. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and bind to the immobilized antibody. A biotinylated detection antibody specific to the target protein is then added, followed by Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well, resulting in a color change. Only wells containing the target protein, detection antibody, and HRP conjugate will develop a blue color. The reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution, resulting in a yellow color. The optical density (OD) is measured at 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is directly proportional to the concentration of the target protein in the sample and is determined using a standard curve.
