The PRIM2 Antibody (CAB11633) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced through rabbit immunization, exhibits high specificity and reactivity towards human samples, making it a reliable option for a variety of experimental applications. Validated for use in Western blotting, the PRIM2 antibody enables the precise detection and analysis of PRIM2 protein levels in different cell types, facilitating investigations in molecular biology and cancer research.PRIM2, also referred to as DNA primase subunit 2, plays a crucial role in the initiation of DNA synthesis by synthesizing short RNA primers that are essential for DNA polymerase to elongate DNA strands during replication.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

This gene encodes the 58 kilodalton subunit of DNA primase, an enzyme that plays a key role in the replication of DNA. The encoded protein forms a heterodimer with a 49 kilodalton subunit. This heterodimer functions as a DNA-directed RNA polymerase to synthesize small RNA primers that are used to create Okazaki fragments on the lagging strand of the DNA. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants. This gene has a related pseudogene, which is also present on chromosome 6.
