Rat Srd5a2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Lys29-Gln71&His93-Arg145&Leu167-Ala205, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. 3-oxo-5-alpha-steroid 4-dehydrogenase 2 is a ~28 kDa protein. Converts testosterone (T) into 5-alpha-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and progesterone or corticosterone into their corresponding 5-alpha-3-oxosteroids. For research use only.
