Recombinant 4E-BP1 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant 4E-BP1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110441) against 4E-BP1. This gene encodes one member of a family of translation repressor proteins. The protein directly interacts with eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E (eIF4E), which is a limiting component of the multisubunit complex that recruits 40S ribosomal subunits to the 5' end of mRNAs. Interaction of this protein with eIF4E inhibits complex assembly and represses translation. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse, Rat and Sheep samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, IP and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Jurkat. The target is localized to the nucleus.
