The Recombinant 5T4 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C321387) against 5T4. Trophoblast glycoprotein (encoded by 5T4) is a leucine-rich transmembrane glycoprotein that may be involved in cell adhesion. This protein is an oncofetal antigen that is specific to trophoblast cells. In adults this protein is highly expressed in many tumor cells and is associated with poor clinical outcome in numerous cancers. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of MCF-7, JAR, IHC analysis of Human placenta and IP analysis of MCF-7 cells extracts. The target is localized to the membrane.
