The Recombinant ACOX1/AOX Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110154) against ACOX1. The protein encoded by this gene is the first enzyme of the fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway, which catalyzes the desaturation of acyl-CoAs to 1-trans-enoyl-CoAs. It donates electrons directly to molecular oxygen, thereby producing hydrogen peroxide. Defects in this gene result in pseudoneonatal adrenoleukodystrophy, a disease that is characterized by accumulation of very long chain fatty acids. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, IP and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HepG2, LNCaP, HeLa, Jurkat, Raw264.7, NIH/3T3, Mouse heart, Mouse liver, Mouse kindey, PC-12, C6, Rat heart, Rat liver, Rat kindey and IHC analysis of Mouse kidney, Rat liver.
