The Recombinant Aurora B Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C211064) against Aurora B. Serine/threonine-protein kinase component of the chromosomal passenger complex (CPC), a complex that acts as a key regulator of mitosis. The CPC complex has essential functions at the centromere in ensuring correct chromosome alignment and segregation and is required for chromatin-induced microtubule stabilization and spindle assembly. Involved in the bipolar attachment of spindle microtubules to kinetochores and is a key regulator for the onset of cytokinesis during mitosis. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human and Mouse samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC and IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, 293, A20, IHC analysis of Human tonsil, Mouse spleen and IF analysis of A549. The target is localized to the centromere, chromosome, cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, nucleus.
