The Recombinant BCAM/CD239 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110218) against BCAM. This gene encodes Lutheran blood group glycoprotein, a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and a receptor for the extracellular matrix protein, laminin. The protein contains five extracellular immunoglobulin domains, a single transmembrane domain, and a short C-terminal cytoplasmic tail. This protein may play a role in epithelial cell cancer and in vaso-occlusion of red blood cells in sickle cell disease. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC-P and ICC/IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of BxPC-3, HT-29, Hela, A431, Mouse lung, Mouse heart and IF analysis of A431.
