The Recombinant Bcr Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C323321) against Bcr. A reciprocal translocation between chromosomes 22 and 9 produces the Philadelphia chromosome, which is often found in patients with chronic myelogenous leukemia. The chromosome 22 breakpoint for this translocation is located within the BCR gene. The translocation produces a fusion protein which is encoded by sequence from both BCR and ABL, the gene at the chromosome 9 breakpoint. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC-P applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of A549, HL-60, U2OS, C6 and IHC analysis of Human Brain. The target is localized to the cytosol, extracellular region or secreted, extracellular exosome, Plasma Membrane, postsynaptic membrane, other locations: cell junction, membrane, postsynaptic density, protein complex.
