The Recombinant BDNF Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110224) against BDNF. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the nerve growth factor family. It is induced by cortical neurons, and is necessary for survival of striatal neurons in the brain. Expression of this gene is reduced in both Alzheimer's and Huntington disease patients. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, U-251, K562, C2C12, Neuro-2a, Mouse brain, Mouse liver, PC-12.
